the problem is that there is sooo many choices out there .. and i hear so much good and bad about every single camera i look up ..
i would like to get the cam new .. i have been burned on e-bay 3 out of 3 times .. so i would rather just find a deal online on a new cam .. or a certified used cam ..Pharaoh;3679609; said:I bought my Nikon D50 for $500. Cam with two lenses and a flash. Got it off of ebay from a local guy. Of course, this was a while ago. I'm sure you could get a good deal on a newer model now.

Iffrat;3679703; said:that cam you told me about has a TON of people having the dust problem as well as the zoom getting stuck and getting jacked up
---XR---;3679718; said:well then look around for another model, nikon has a good range of high quality P&S's aswell, dust should not be a problem for a user who knows what they are doing, i should know from changeing lenses constanly, the zoom may be a mechanical issue, and if you think there's enough people saying it's bad to warrent staying away, by all means shop around for a different cam, from the people i know who have used it, it hasen't had issues.
