Theres a reason as to why Black Piranhas are always housed in solitary confinement at your local pet shop. But if you think they should'nt be considered for obvious reasons another contender would be the Flowerhorn. Both these fish seem to have the same mission in life. The removal of any living thing sharing the same tank.

Saratoga jardini cant even be considered here. As a general rule they are typically only agressive to others of the same species. A mate of mine was telling me he had his snakehead and his 20 inch dovii in seperate tanks but one sprung a leak so he put the dovii in with the channa, the dovii was giving the chan a hard time before he went to bed, he woke uo the next morning and his dovii had no head. talk about killing for the sake of killing.

it was challenged...and fought back.

There will always be topics that get brought up and discussed time and again in this hobby, get over it.In my experience the brycon or my dorado are the most aggro fish that I have kept.I'm not sure which species the brycon was but it raised hell the momment it was added to my tank and it was a good six inches while the emperor cichlid it fought with was at least twenty inches in length. The emperor usually chases and kills newcomers to the tank but the brycon actually had me concerned for the emperor. My little dorado constantly picks fights with other fish now.

im surprised that nobody even mentionedthe buttikofferi cichild beautiful but will eventually kill all tankmates
