how big do this guys grow? i'm wanting to buy one from my LFS.

Make sure that it is a true Tiger Knife. There have been many people that I have seen buy a Knife, thinking that it is a Tiger, but turns out that it is a Carapo, Zebra, or some other Gymnotus species sold as a Tiger Knife. Price is also a way to be able to tell if it is a true Tiger. Your looking at a Knife being $70+ (Cheapest), normally around $100+ these days.

i paid a mean 125 = leg for him every penny worth it =) shipping = arm this is what hurt my wallet still very worth it

IMO, if it was a Tiger, at three inches, $60 isn't worth it, lol. Sounds more like a Zebra Knife, and if that is the case then $60 is WAY to high. More around $20 for a Zebra. Pics would be helpful though.
