Props to you!!!

Thanks... those rita should be a real handfull :D The RTC's seems like puddycats compared to them :headbang2
And sorry about the thread starter. The guy who reported is a douche

No kidding... anyone that tries to get another persons is a douche.. but karma is a wonderfull thing

Why do you need to get rid of your fish?

Somebody on the internet threatened to turn you in for animal cruelty. If you are not being cruel to them I would think that you are 100% safe. If it was illegal to keep a fish in a tank that they will eventually outgrow then all LFS's would be busted!

I hate to sound insensitive, but you are giving the guy that has been threatening you a lot of power. One post (or PM or e-mail or whatever) and you are giving away your fish - you need to be a bit tougher than that!

Good luck sorting this all out.

Also, I know pretty much everybody has mentioned it, but if you're not going to use any punctuation, at least throw in a few spaces!

That really sucks mate:( if they were taken off you they probably would end up in enclosures a similar size to your pond anyway!

I've never heard of animal cruelty ever doing anything over big fish here before, and as long as the pool was correctly filtered and maintained i can't see what they'd have been able to do you for! Plus your RTC and TSN are still 'small' and a 10ft pool would be more than large enough at those sizes. Slightly confused.

Oh, and work on spelling and punctuation;)

Once again, so sorry mate:(

sorry to hear that mate, hope they don't do that to me when i get my pond , if you still got them when i build my pond , i might take them if u want.

I dont believe that fish come under the animal welfare act.... i should know im studing it LOL.

Same here, that is why you can buy painted fish. Fish aren't classifed the same as other animals and as a consequence have less "rights".

Take them to Bruce... it would be your best bet.. he could find them good homes

Asking about my tanks is like asking a mechanique about his tools... Far to many sizes to talk about any of them specific... to sum up... 3 fish rooms in the house with another in the works (Top secret project) totalling almost 7500 gallons with more than double expected by next fall ;)

Does your wife know about this secret project? or is that why its a secret project?

sorry about your fish oscar

RSPCA dont touch fish.

They as far as I know dont come under any laws whatsoever in the keeping of them welfare wise (of coarse certain fish cant be kept, cant release into lakes/ponds/rivers etc etc) but the actual act of KEEPING them isnt regulated at all.

If it was me I would say go for it, phone them up and see what they say you muppet.

Failing that I'm 6 foot 2, 20 stone (not fat) and would just intimidate him into effing off

Ignore the guy m8, he is just a numpty.

i wouldn't worry about mate the blokes a t***er empty threats and broken promses proberly just to put a bee under your bonnet :naughty:
