Beautiful Uaru. Hope they get the hang of breeding soon.
Do they let the cories near the eggs? My cories love taking eggs out from under any females.

yes, the cory love the eggs and wrigglers! not the uarus(still no luck) i had some corys in with a breeding pair of rotkeil sevs and they ate most of the eggs and then all of the wrigglers. i moved the sevs to there own tank and have since had a huge batch.
still no luck with the uaru. i have added a couple tank mates though. a 7 inch senegal bichir and a 10 inch bala shark, but those are going to be moved out this week sometime.
just read thru this thread as my Uaru spawned 1st time(as often the case eggs eaten).Interestingly i have the opposite with mine where the female has red eyes and the male orange
