a sump for the 210g

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I think 1600-2000gph sounds about right. I have a 1000gph pump on my planted 57g tank :)

I don't think "low electrical footprint" and "2000 GPH at 4-5' head" go hand in hand.

I have a Danner Mag Drive and it's treated me very well so far. They make a larger series (Hy-drive) as I recall.

Take a look at a submersible pond pump. I had an external pond pump that pushed 3400gph and ran at only 1.7a

I would recommend that you use the best possible equipment that you can afford

well thats the point. I can afford plenty but would prefer one that doesnt use alot of energy. The tank will have at least 8 cycles per hour, regardless
