yeah that would be perfect

harlan with 100 more posts than me you make me feel glad im gonna become a REAL fish finally... i dont get sometimes, piranhas and bichirs are at the first 50 posts but really crappy fish come up after 300 or so...

there are the framed wall tanks is that what you mean? you litrally hang it on the wall and it has its own built in filter system and air pump all you gotta do is feed and water changes apparently

yar

well kinda like that. but they had this one freaky design where there was 5 or 6 tanks stacked ontop of eachother. just imagine 6 waffles... they were thin and acrylic like sheets of glass. it was for an art thing and each tank had a little built in maze that the flat fish navigated and with all 6 clear tanks stacked on eachother you could look down on it from a birds eye view and it would look like the stingrays/flounders were spiraling around eachother and getting smaller cause you could see each layer and the fish in them.

its really hard to explain verbally... but just awesome... the tanks were each like 4" high and basically looked like giant CD covers with continuous mazes in them and currents to keep the fish moving either clockwise or counter in a spiral shape or figure 8 or all kinds of crazy stuff..

i cant remember what its called RRR!! it was a special chinese art style of fish keeping. idno if they always stayed in those tanks but it was an amazing display.

anyway... i was thinking about it and it makes my head hurt... but now i just need to know. whats the ... actually i will just make a new post for this question.

I know one thing...If my house had a long hallway, I would definately do it. You would have to do it of course by panels and I'm sure some of the folks here can advise as to how that would all work out. Being in a log cabin though...everything is pretty wide open with short halls (if you would even call it that). I'll just stick with my 10 footer in the rec room. ;o)

or how bout the dimensions W: 3" H: 20" L: 450". then i could put discus and datnoids in facing the right side of the tank and compressed piranhas facing the left... that way none of them can fight unless the piranha jumps out, spins 180 and lands perfectly or swims upside down.

EDIT: Jk.

i seriously would rather have length than anything else though... realistically... maybe 300" 18" 20" or something.

OR a 300" x 3' x 3' :)
Arowanas get bigger than 18 inches. BUT! you could have a tank running through the wall in a master bedroom. Say 1000" x 18" x 20"
They wouldn't need to turn around. Just keep going and going :D
Like a circle :naughty:

Realistically do you know long 300" is? Do you actually have a 25 foot long hallway in your house?

Also why would the arowana get tired? :screwy:

to answer arowana fishbowl guy, i do infact have a 25+ foot hallway, its really narrow though. and 25 feet is not as long as you think. specially when theres 2 rooms and a bathroom feeding from it.

and columbian, what about the door? lol. Nascar fish ftw...

ADD: OMG i just thought of something... a floor tank!! made of plexiglass or something on the top. and then a solid material as the tank. you could have an aro swimming around the house in like a floor maze!! omg i gotta draw this!
