the scanner kept on IRSing me so i just snapped a photo... here is my house to the best scale i could make it.

it would be a plexiglass floor with canals of water imbedded into it and small holes for aeration but not enough to spash or leak. there will be a trap door on strategic sections of the tank to feed and do maintinence on the filter that will be under my bed and powerheads at each corner to push the water along.

that way when i watch tv or go to sleep the aro will pass me at least once. and it will be funny to see everybody staring at the floor tryna look for the aro when its swimming under some furniture or through a wall.

to answer arowana fishbowl guy, i do infact have a 25+ foot hallway, its really narrow though. and 25 feet is not as long as you think. specially when theres 2 rooms and a bathroom feeding from it.

and columbian, what about the door? lol. Nascar fish ftw...

ADD: OMG i just thought of something... a floor tank!! made of plexiglass or something on the top. and then a solid material as the tank. you could have an aro swimming around the house in like a floor maze!! omg i gotta draw this!

hmm maybe in a single room then. i guarantee u its doable on an American family budget it just depends on what you think you need and don't need.

my floor tank is continuous, if u look at the design u can see that it runs under the doors and furniture and it guides along the walls. pluss its got split passageways so the aro doesn't have to always turn left, left, left, left, left, left... lol and they all meet up.
