My girlfriend basically calls me a nerd. But when I take my shirt off to clean my tank. She just jumps on me. Yelling and screaming. LOL. Actually when I think about it she's really quite agressive...

What kinda fish do you keep, and how do you look?
 
my tanks inspire no romance... however me and my gf live together.. and shes just as into the fish as i am...

new tanks and fish result in us sitting together in the dark untill were too tired to hold our heads up... then we go to bed and fall asleep.. then whoever gets up first sneeks out to look at the fish alone...


edit: she just peeked and said "its true.. alone time with the fish is nice"

Aro, cats, pacus and NW cichlids. They are all in good shape. The pacus are freakin huge, though. I can see how someone could be intimidated by appearance of a pacu.
 
I think that might be the trouble, esp if the fish are in the bedroom! Have you anywhere else you could keep the fish?
 
i'm pretty sure a pacu would turn me on lol ......... my ex had a goldfish...didn't really have the effect he'd hoped. :D

but changing this around.....guys get really put off i keep fish, they think i'm weird, in fact i don't even mention it until they come to my house.
 
Na, my bedroom has a 75 with 2 pikes, 2 silver dollars, a JD, and 2 plecos. But, the 220 in the livingroom is usually good for a shreek. Thats where the "scary" fish are.

Princess- Wanna check out a pacu? :ROFL:... Us fish people are a rare breed. Those normies just dont understand. Come to think about it, you and I are in the same boat...just a little different.
