It's interesting that no other types of turtles are allowed there.

Actually, they are pretty much the only reptile allowed here.
I could actually make a list of the ONLY pets allowed here:
Dogs, cats, rabbits and a bunch of other common rodents, White's tree frogs, red eared-sliders(I think Malaysian Box turtles might be allowed?), birds, and fish. No invertebrates, no reptiles, nothing. Stupid laws.:irked:

Any nice pics spirit, I have yet to visit that place myself. That is Channa Micropeltes, the Giant Snakehead.

That is what i call totally awesome!

I got a Fly River Turtle. Shhhhhhhh

Anyway I forgotten to take a pic of a sign at the pond which shows how responsible we SG fishkeepers are
It reads "Please do not throw luohan into the pond".

We have wild monkeys in singapore too. Really aggressive after years of being fed by people, they grow acustomed to believing that plastic bags = food. Trying putting some stones in a plastic bag and carry it, they would attack you

Thanks for sharing Spirit, nice pics and it's nice to know they have such a large open space to grow and live...

Very cool! I think I see Silver Aro, Leichardti Aro and Jardini Aro. :)

Awesome! I feel bad for the snake head being caged up :(
