Wow, amazing fish - every single one of them.

Second picture down, is that an Aequidens/Andinocara Diadema?

That Grammodes is gorgeous!

How big is your D. Sexfasciatus?

The Distichodus is 6.5" I'd say. I've had it and 2 others for about a year now. They were approx 2.5-3" when I got them.

Love that Midas, what size is he?
He's got to be 8". He has great color and temperament but has thinned out a bit over the past few months since abruptly going on a hunger strike. He doesn't eat a thing but is diligently defending a massive brood of fry against tankmates, siphons, nets, me.... He's a great fish. It would suck to lose him to malnutrition and starvation but that's another story. I'll save my woes for separate thread.

Thanks for the nice comments.

Thats the problem I have with my F1 Male. He would be 10-12" by now and thick if he just ate like his son does. He is just over 9" while his son is 8" and closing. not to mention thick and chunky. Something intresting about these F1's and starving themselves thats for sure. My old Midas pair didn't miss a meal, lol.

Sorry to hear about your male going on a hunger strike, hopefully he comes around soon.

Anubisscott ..... is this a common theme with F1 Midas?
