Aba Aba

I got my 9-10" Aba 3 days ago. I'm not sure if he has eaten. I put some small rosies in with him today. He defimitely bit one almost in half but that seems to be it. I've tried pellets and blood worms He gets active when I put food in but I am not sure if he has actually eaten any.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated..

I'd say just give it sometime. If you just added the Rosies today, and he has already bitten one, then it should only be a matter of time.
Normally at night, when all of the lights are off, the killing begins.

Update. I covered the tank with a blanket last night so it would be completely dark. This morning my Aba had a full round belly.

garlic is used to enhance appetite on picky eaters... your fish needs time to adjust to his new tank..also did you ask the LFS {the store you bought it from} what they were feeding it... that could help you alot...
