We have a Vet that makes a special to the island about once per month, and makes house calls.
She has enough of a group of clients, mostly gringo X-pats that can afford the extra travel fee she tacks on.
Canadians, Dutch, Unidostatienses, even a couple Panamanians, all dog and cat lovers alike.
If some serious emergency comes up there is always the island doctor (originally here for humans)
