Banjos are super cool looking but rarely seen, I don't think I will ever get another one since I like scaped tanks

love the weird wooden look on them ! sadly doubt they could eat anything considering my Senegal Bichirs and other fish are already giant gluttons lol. I wouldnt mind having one tho even If I didnt see it as long as its happy and healthy its fine for me.

really ? heard from people that it was fine as long as it wasnt small for Senegal to eat or the other way around.
Depends on the Catfish species some are very fast and may devour the food before the Senegal can get to it. Senegal bichir are probably the fastest to food out of all the Polypterus I have kept but poly fast lol.

oh so even a single catfish could leave them starving ? I mostly spread the sinking food around the tank so everyone gets to eat. What type of catfish would you reccomend for my setup ? Im probably not going to get one for a long time but could keep an eye out since lately my LFS started bringing more and more catfish big and small...

You may have to worry about catfish becoming obese and suffering associated health issues. Even if you spread the food out, their being fast eaters (as tlindsey mentioned) means they tend to eat more than their share, and eventually from extra helping after extra helping turn tubby.
This is one of the best examples: https://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/...h-9-11-5-8-year-old-in-4500-gal.680969/page-3
I see guess no catfish for my tank...Kinda sad to hear but oh well.

A single upside down synodontis nigriventris would work with Senegal birchir in my view. Won’t grow large and are not gluttons at feeding time but also won’t be shy to get food. Ok they prefer to be in a group but that could come later.

There was a moderately sized one (around the length of my finger) at the LFS but even tho the LFS told me it was an upside down Catfish the fish itself looked more like a Featherfin. There were also Synos the size of a Nickel but no idea What species they are... If there was a way to be sure I would grab one LoL. Because of my country they are actually really cheap around 4 dollars.
