Absolute Movie Character Fails

i'll have to check out redlettermedia. and i totally agree on the script of anakin skywalker. but at the same time, i didn't feel hayden christenson fit the role well. again, i'm ok with him, but i felt he simply didn't fit the role even if the character was written better. he's just not darth vader material to me. jmo
+ 1 on Dragon Ball and GI Joe. for DB, how are you gonna have a bunch of asian actors, yet the ONE character that MUST be asian, is a white dude??? I will never watch this movie
dude, Darth Maul was a badass. the actor, his skills, his demeanor, just completely embodied the character 100%. I really wish they didn't kill him either. i'd prefer they kept him and left out christopher lee's character personally

Keanu Reeves as Klaatu in The Day The Earth Stood Still. The whole movie was bad, but this particular choice of casting just made me cringe.
Well,at least Stormshadow was played by an Asian actor and the character wasn't ruined.In fact,I think the villiains are what made GI JOE watchable........Good and interesting comment with Christopher Lee even though he is one of my favorite actors and I enjoyed his portrayal of Darth Tyranus/Count Duku.
for gi joe, i agree about the villains. the ninja good guy was great also. and i just can't take the main character from Step Up serious, not for roles like this, so gi joe got a thumbs down from me.
for count duku, i also blame the writers. it was ok, and christopher lee did well with what he had to work with. but to me, if you are gonna have count duku, go all out or don't do it at all. i felt his character was a bit neglected, his role in the movie felt rushed and i would prefer they never squeezed him in like that. i would much rather they didn't kill off Darth Maul and continue his character in place of Duku. you feel me?
can you imagine dude? the battle with duku and yoda, but with darth maul??? i'd have a star wars orgasm right then and there
Yes I do....I heard that Sam Jackson asked to be in the films because he wanted to be a part of it all and I can see something similar whith Lee since Peter Cushing was in the first film...Lee and Cushing,two icons of classic horror movies added to the series....Yep...the Wayans guy fouled up GIJOE with his comedy bits.

i did just recently watch gi joe though, my nephew rented it from red box, but it was scratched at the end so i don't know what happened the last 10 min, lol

Yeah,cobra is the chick's brother....They was kind of on track with Destro as far as his family history and all but I think cobra should have been some Arab oil zillionare.
