Absolute Movie Character Fails

I can't remember the name of the Street Fighter character but he wears a mask and has a Wolverine-like metal claw on his hand.He appears in the Chun Li movie and is played by one of the members of the Black Eyed Peas group.

that's Vega, played by Taboo from the Black Eyed Peas. I guess ray park did the stunts and the fight scenes?

Ha ha no I wasn't even aware of his involvement in the Bruce Lee film.....The character that I was referring to that he played was none other than Nightcrawler in the first Xmen film....He's got quite a body of work.

they really should've just made him night crawler instead of the dude they actually used. he did toad well, but dang, to me, he'd fit the nightcrawler character even better

Uh oh,if you say he played the toad character then I think I got my characters mixed up....I knew that he was in the film but I thought he played nightcrawler,forgotten all about the toad.

but seriously, i haven't seen the chun li one. again, one thing that is a pet peeve for me is when they take a great super villain and write a poor script for him/her as well as choosing the wrong actor/actress to play the part.

this movie was a fail for me when I saw who played bison. and vega is supposed to be a really good looking guy, which is why he wears the mask. and they used skelator from the black eyed peas. i'd only watch this movie if it came on cable. and that's only because i'm a huge streetfighter fan. that and because kristin kreuk is hot

For the record, it was on cable. There was nothing else on. I opted for working out in the yard as opposed to watching that turd.

The whole movie was a character fail. Isn't Chun-Li supposed to be Asian? She's played by what looks to be a Caucasian girl.

well, her mom is chinese. i can see why they chose her. they really should've used Zhang Ziyi or Michelle Yeoh to play chun li though if they wanted to do it right

I'll take a street fighter movie serious when the chinese decide to make a movie. Their martial arts movies are second to none.

this is more of a question than a contribution. my old boss who read the books and saw the movies said that gollum in the books was a lot darker and creepier than the character in the movie. I was just wondering, for those who read the books and seen the movie, if this was true

Definitely darker in the books. The Gollum in the movies seemed like the comic relief, and he's definitely not funny in the books. He's absolutely creepy.
