Absolutely Gutted...

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Sorry for your loss. I think the problem with most fh nowdays is they are inbred way to much and loose their immune system and can die almost suddenly from nothing. I lost my 1st fh due to hex and didn't know you should "deworm" fh every 6 months. I prefer to make my own hybrids now because the fact I know who their parents were and have stonger immune system. I think a uv sterilizer would help more than hurt as they remove parasites

if you make it up to raleigh anytime soon i've got a nice little orange fader and young red dragon, fader 5" dragon 4" if you want to try again just LmK, $10 is what i paid (at a steal) and you can have either for that just to cover what i spent, sorry for your loss.

Thanks for the offer. I think I'm going to end up waiting until after christmas to do anything now. Keep and eye on the parameters and the cats that are in the tank and make sure everything is cool.
The wife voiced her opinion on wanting a community tank, so we'll see what happens.

Thanks for all the support.

Sorry for your loss. I know how attached we can get to our Wet Pets. My FH is part of the family just like the dog's. Armand is right death can happen to any of us randomly. Give it some time it hurts now but will get better.

He already stated his water parameters were fine and the other fish are fine - how do you get to the point of saying his water wasn't cycled? Even if that was true, you also don't need to be so crass about it.
