i bought the ac 110 for my 55g and its to big for my light. the light sits down on top but the lid that goes onto the filter isnt able to stay on top of it, cause of the button on the back of the light, right now the lid is just laying on top of the filter, and on to of the button of the light :irked:. this 55 is from wal mart, the lights came with it, anyone else have this issue?

Could you post a pic of what it looks like? I'm having a hard time picturing what is going on.

while im waiting on my picture to upload, how do i adjust the flowrate? i have no idea what flowrate its set on, i tried to find it through the manual no luck.

1st excellent choice for a filter. Now moving on does the light fixture fit flush to the back of the tank. or does it have cut outs for the filter heater etc. Also the 55 should be long enough for you to be able to just slide it to 1 side or the other.....waiting on pic.

i have 2 powerfilter, one on other side, and yeah it has cutouts, i cut them out, the lights dont sit flush to the back, and im about to take a pic now, was waiting for mym om to bring my camera home.

Are you sure the button for the light is keeping the lid from fitting? It seems to be very close to the wall also.

the top of the filter is barely touching the wall, but the back of the lid fits on it just fine, just that light switch wont allow the front to sit down, but i know ive gone to far to move the tank/stand out now. no way am i moving everything out. lol, is it ok if i just leave the lid sitting like it is? i hope so..
