Most LFS sell them around here for a 55gal would cost you about 20 bucks.

this is gonna sound dumb, i cant find the flow rate thing your talking about...i think i need to turn it down because its blowing my fish around when they go under it lol. and at the bottom, the sand got blown around into a pile.

ok i figured it out, but when i turn it on max flow rate, it makes a clicking noise. whats the problem? if its all the way to the right (low) it clicks also, if its in middle its fine.

If it's just the switch in the way, unplug the light, remove it from the tank, take apart the light and remove the switch! After you remove the switch drill a new hole for the switch in a location on the light were it is out of the way! Easy!

air may be trapped in it. just jiggle it. take the dremmel to you're lid and make it work :D at least that's what i'd do

I had that problem with a Petsmart 55 gal, too. I turned the light around so the light on/off button was in the front. You might try that.

a glass top, or a 4 foot hood, instead of two 2 foot hoods. the light button on a 4 foot hood is in the middle, out of the way of everything.
