AC70 (AC300) on a 75gal, does it fit??

Idk if I like all the talk about filing down the plastic rim of the tank to fit a filter...its there for support like the fins of an I beam...I wouldnt go filing it off

No, I am not going to "trim the trim" either.

I will just put the AC110 on it and put the media from the AC70 as suggested.

I just purchased a 90 gallon and along with it i picked up an aquaclear 150 and it would not fit over the lip of my tank. I returned it and added 2 bucks more and got a marineland penguin 350...much better i.m.o.

BTW my tank is an all glass brand tank dont know if makes any difference but it did not work on mine. The marineland 350 and the fluval 205 i have are doing just fine!
