acrylic or polyurethane pond sealant for plywood tank?

How big is the tank and does it have any flex in it?
I favor epoxy (on small tanks) or one of the more flexible coatings.

it is 5ftx 5ft and 2ft deep for my rectic rays it has a plywood base and 4 large viewing panels of acrylic not pu in yet, i can get hold of epoxy but my LFS has polyurethane and acrylic they dnt know if it will stick to timber or not?

If you use one that hardens make sure that the box cannot flex (ie lots of bracing).
If you have aparticular brand contat the manufacturer.
Some polyurethane, acrylic or epoxy coatings are not submersible 24/7 as they get soft or dissolve, especially paints. Same with roof coatings.

they are pond coatings for concrete ponds, so id hope they are 100% waterproof 24/7!!!! lol

does pond armor go hard like glass or fibreglass resin or stay rubbery? because the pond stuff i have mentioned goes rock hard if thats any good?
