I'm looking to purchase an active catfish for my 55 gallon fish tank. I have a striped and spotted rapheal already, there not too active only durting feeding time. I am thinking about pictus, but would be open to other suggestions. Not to fond of cories and sun cats.

what about 3 Porthole Catfish... i have one... :D

I think I am going to stick with the pictus, but am open to other cool ideas.

Hmm... sydontis... tempting!

Do a pair of pictus catfish. They look extremely active in the store but of you only buy one then they tend to hide a lot and not move much, but get two or three and they'll bs all over the place.

I own three pictus cats in a 55 (3", 4", 7")

I love my sydontis, but he is a hider, except for evening feeding. Then she swims right up the side of the tank and onto her back and hoovers up the food like crazy, knocking any other fish outta her way.
