You will be broke by feeding a 6 footer ana before anyone would buy them for $1000...

They grow fast too :D

A lot of times you can easily say yes to 'could I?', but the tricky part is answering the 'should I?'.

Sometimes I think it would be nice to see the really large ones sold dirt cheap, and babies sold hella expensive, that way the amount of 'casual' herpers, aka the guy with a gator in a tiny fish tank in his living room and no plans for upgrades, etc... won't be tempted to get them.

Did you see my thread?LOL JK JK JK.Do you have the space for one?And if they can eat pigs,a fish shouldn't be a problem.Howver, you probably could while it's small.I would think oscars and silver aros.ive heard pythons can be husoed with tionfoil barbs, even though they aren't south american.

lol I JUST saw it right after I posted haha. And I just posted in there with a pic of my old anaconda set up.

And oscars would be to mean. They'd nip at the snake. Silver dollars I think would work...

Hmmm...you might be right.Something medium sized,as small fish would only be a food source.Try to find larger silver dollars.Your tank would need to be a little bit deep.
