you should get one made for aquarium water use.

PS sorry I g2g to sleep. I need to wake up early tomorrow. I'll just talk to you tomorrow

apart from the first batch I think either would make acceptable water

I still think you should get the aquarium ones because it doesn't say that this one removes the phosphates and silicates that are bad for your tank.

PS Here's the vid of my tank. I took it yesterday at like 9:30 so the anemone is closed up and fish are hiding.

awesome tank
BIG thinks that they will make good water but i agree with youit dosn't take phosphates or silicates out. but i don't have the money for a $250 one, WHAT DO I DO?

oh and by the way i did something i probs shouldn't have, i bought a 3 striped damsel.
Hes been in there a day and he has come out today, its the morning here in Aus, swimming around at the back of the tank.He is so cool, i hope he survives

yeah, you shouldn't have done that. I would return it because its terrible for the fish to have to endure the cycling process. You can ask a pet store to hold it for a couple of weeks for you until ur tank cycles.

By the way, I'm using a DI filter. Its A LOT cheaper and it works great. Here is the link http://www.aquariumguys.com/tapwaterfilter.html

It is $35 :WHOA::WHOA:

Oh and also, those filters that you posted aren't even RO filters. They are just a sediment and carbon filter. Not much better than an aquaclear running with some floss and carbon.
