my experience with these plecos the spots are more indicative of age than size. (younger equals more spots.)Any head shot pics? L282 keeps its spots longer ?

That pleco could easily be 10", Adonis are very slender plecos. It seems that at that size, most have already lost all spots or have very small ones on the fins and tail.
MY Adonis did not loose his spots until 4 or 5 years old.. and even at this age still have some random spots... by the time yours is a foot it should start deminishing the spots... at least this is how mine developed since a 4 inch baby... there could be differences between them in regard to sex too.. beautiful adonis you have.
