Adonis questions

So today my sister asked me what I wanted for my B-day and I told her a new fish. My lfs has some small adonis for like $25 so shes gonna pick one up for me on tuesday. I allready know they get quite big but I cant find much on how shy they are. Some people say they are shy while others say they dont hide too much. Any adonis owners out there wanna chime in on this?

Mine are very shy. They will come out to eat but as soon as they know you are standing there they hide. They are a nice fish to have IMO

They are not shy at all. Though they can be aggressive towards other plecos in your tank especially the one that is closer to its size.
