Adopted a Silver aro today...

Well I just got my 180 up and running for my 16" silver aro. Found an ad on craigslist for a 18" silver up for adoption. I called and made arrangements to pick him up today. So I get there to find this poor 22-23" silver crammed in a 90g (48" x 18" x24") tank with a 14" electric cat and a 13-14" pleco. The silver is deformed, but I felt sorry for him so I took him home. Cost me 20 bucks though.

good job on the adoption, i just "adopted a small sick aro" it's doing fine, i went and check on it's brother at the store and it looked rough. i don't have room for 2 aro's though

Good for you and the aro...I'm sure it will be happy there......just a couple visits to the chiropractor and back to new.....J/K Maybe being in a bigger tank will help the big dude stretch out and possible improve in the future.
