Adult male GT average size?

Hi guys I'm thinking of entering my male GT into a fish show competition , I'm worried he's a little small. The fish has to be adult size or at least a good size . mines 8 ", I know hes still got some growing to do but he may be eligible . Is there a general concencus on average adult male size? All web pages i've seen say differently.

I would also love to see any pics anyone might have of fully grown males with something in the shot for size comparison like a hand or measuring tape cause I'ts been around 4 years since I've seen a fully grown GT male and can't quite remember the sight of one. Seeing a pic would help me decide wether to enter my GT in the competition or not. Would really appreciate this!!

they can get 12 inches or so if the fish in your avatar is the one you speak of i think it should be good to go at that size

I think your right i'm gonna! he's 10 - 12 months old

8-10 inches is typical adult size.
