Hi all, bigger tank addict here. I'm looking at a 1400g 10'x52x52 acrylic tank.
Pics included, mostly questions are:

1> are the top cracks repairable and what weld on# would you use

2> do you think the black end acrylic can be routered out or otherwise removed? Would be be very happy if they were, I would love the tank to be 4x viewable

And any thoughts you have feel free thanks all

I don’t like those cracks in the bracing. I would tape off the underside and sides to make a well then fill with weldon 40. I would add a piece of acrylic on top of the crack with weldon 40 as well. You could use a dremel and remove the black acrylic. I would personally love a 1400 gallon peninsula though.

Yep definitely planning a repair of some kind, 40 would be the way to go? 40 only or would anything else work depending on what's available? I'm happy to add reinforcement as well

The long sides are actually 1.25" and that is the other big thing I totally spaced on asking advice - owner says it has a 3" bow when full - concerning?
