Advice on monster acrylic used tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
If You are going to keep it outside or in the Garage and don't care about your fish I might take that Chance, But I really think that tank is about to break and I personally wouldn't take that Chance!!!
I had a 300 gallon do the same thing to me and the whole back blew out of it in the middle of the night!!!

If you really want that tank, I would have that crack fixed and the rest of the tank reinforced with some thick large pieces of acrylic.
Build a frame and build a wall around that tank and fill her up to 30-36" in height, I'm no specialist but i think you would be okay and nobody would see the water missing at the top because it would be in-wall anyways.. It's a gorgeous tank though...

You can brace the top and bottom all you want that tank will still bow like crazy in the middle of each panel.
