WOW....a mere 9 posts in on MFK and youve already told people to save their advice & breath and act perturbed that a stupid decision youve made warrants responses of people telling you a fact that you already know (youre overstocked or soon to be)...on a PUBLIC forum.
#1...You shouldnt come on here telling people dedicated to the correct housing of fish to "save it" when you already know you are making a bad decision in too small of a tank. We acknowledge and state that these are bad decisions so that open minded new comers see the thread and know what NOT to do and know that this is the INCORRECT way to properly take care of large cichlids.
#2...koltsix made completely valid observations based on your post and obviously cares about the future ramifications that threads like these can cause for new members..and the fish...and took it upon himself to let you know.
#3...There is a search function that you could have used to find info on dithers with large cichlids instead of posting the question if you so desired...then you wouldnt have had to meet reality head on.
#4...Read, research & apply what you learn from here about all the issues and lose the attitude. Youre here, like the rest of us, because you dont know EVERYTHING, enjoy the hobby and presumably want to learn more. I think this thread has been a good start for you on "Housing 101."
#5...Your statement of "They aren't crammed, and they're actually all rather content in there" tells me that youre fish are either 1-3 or so inches...or youve developed some sort of telekinetic communication with them to have let you know this.
If they are 1-3 or so inches than, yes, they are fine now and you just have issues to look forward to in the future. All anyones trying to do is help you avoid them.

"Welcome to Monster Fish Keepers
The members of this forum have come together to share our knowledge and experiences of fish keeping. We want to answer your questions, offer advice and fill the galleries with pictures of the fish we have all grown to love."
