Yea i have a few 1 inch opening at the top were i placed the heater and filter so i don't want to take any chances but thanks and i was looking at balas or iridescent but supposedly they grow too big
right now im looking at rainbows i guess since they are the only ones everyone says i can fit
ok yes a rainbow shark would be perfect! you could do an albino or a black whichever you prefer
tiger barbs would also be good tankmates ;)

stay away from balas and iridescents right now. Balas get 14" long and iridescents get 4 feet long.

yea i got a rainbow shark and six red-eyed tetras today they are getting along swimingly lol
In the near future i am gonna go back and get a peacock eel and a dinosaur bichir is this possible?

also i am aware that the bichir grow quite long but i researched and most say 40 gallons is minimum requirement for tank and i have a 36 so its close enough and i will most likely upgrade by the time hes full grown anyways

cool glad its going well
my advice is to stay away from the peacock eel
all mine does is hide all day i dont know what it eats because i havnt seen it in 3 weeks
1 senegal bichir would be fine but it would eventually eat the tetras ;)

lol thanks and i guess ill wait for my eel..i posted another thread with what im thinking of putting in my tank right now,i was thinking- 2 raphaels, 2 pictus, 1 peacock eel, 1 birhcir but i think its a bit much for my tank size so now that im haaving second thoguhts about eel maybe i can fit rest?

aww but i really wanted an eel : / well one day im gonna get atleast a 75g saltwater tank and then i can have an eel >.> someday in the near future hopefully- anyways birchir is close enough to an eel ^^ theyre soo cute and its ok if it eats the tetras i guess...:/ they were one of my first fish though so its still upsetting...

Synodontis petricola. here is a catfish ima get it will only be around 3-4" dont get a rapeal ull never see it they hide always
