Aequidens Metae or Aequidens Diadema?

Really curious as ive never seen these before. Tried identifying them myself, but I honestly can't tell if theyre a Metae ot Diadema

Really tough to tell at that size. Those species can be tough to tell apart at any size really. I'm leaning towards metae though.

Looks like diadema to me.

According to the Cichlidae.com, in diadema the mid body blotch reaches up into the dorsal, it does not in metae, in the OPs photo, it appears as though the mid body blotch does reach into the dorsal.

Interesting, then it's definitely a diadema! Pretty funny how this guy wouldn't sell apperantely, so they just removed the name tags and forgot about him at my LFS haha.
