yeah where is this african aro breeder. i'd love a tank raised one. if they can't exactly figure out silvers i doubt there are african breeders out there. also where i got mine, there were 3 and the other two also mysteriously died around the same time.

i think they are breeding silvers here in asia.

I grew my african aro out from a baby, i started with live black worms and then it eventually learned to eat pellets and freeze dried shrimp.

WOW! thats a cool looking arowana

Just watch, because I tried raising them together and they will fight, the one in the pics is one of 4 that made it. If I had separated them when they were young they all would still be hear today. I think house them in a large tank and maybe your success will be greater when raising them together. The one in the pics is rounding 10". A little busted up because when it was younger I had a leichardi and they not always got along, since them he's had some scars. Good luck and enjoy!

A 220 will last for a little bit, but these guys get big and swim alot. They get jumpy when they feel cramped and they will also fight among themselves. Good luck ;)

Yeah they swim alot, the black should be ok but those are jumpy as well and the africans may be too active for them. Especially if there is more then one.
