have some African Arowana fry about 1" and growing. They are eating live blood worm and also dropping (crushed pellets/frozen brine shrimp)

Those don't look like Arowana, they look like minnows . Very tempting though. There was a tank at the NY Aquarium years ago that housed a Silver with some Harlequin Rasboras and it was fun to watch the rasboras swap sides with the Silver as it cruised the surface. The rasboras stayed down in the plants.
