African Arowana's Unite!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I use the name African Arowana simply because it's been generalized as such over the years and speaking of an Arapaima sub-species will usually send people running since they think it means a 7' monster.

Nice looking one by the way, olllie.

Yeah you're right, haha!

Still I will keep saying Arapaima to mine. :headbang2

Ok, I don't know if this is weird behaviour by my African Arowana.

It loves to chase the glass cleaner -_-" I mean it leaves the other fishes in the tank along but once I use the glass cleaner, it just goes crazy and attacks it.

It also like to play with the air stone in the tank.... so my question is, is this normal behaviour for an African Arowana??

just got rid of my 24" african aro :( might get a small one if the season for small specimens is ard the corner:P

Hmmmm...
No posts in over a year. That's no good.
This fish is at the top of my wish list for my 480 I'm planning. I've never seen them available through any supplier I have ever dealt with, so hopefully I can track one down when the time is right.

Oliver below water has them on his list right now.
