Well it turned out great, prewashing the sand is so important, I rinsed the sand in my 150 for hours, and even after thinking it was rinsed enough, it still clouded up the water slightly.

I'd heard that no matter how much you wash it, the sand will still cloud the tank. But if you don't wash it at all, it looks like 110 gallons of milk. I was afraid to put the fish back in there. But I didn't have anywhere else to put them.

I tried to check if they were breathing hard but could only see if they were when they swam right up to the glass. It was not one of the highlights of my aquarist career. Looks great now, but then it looked like hell....

I thought it was very interesting to see all these cichlids in the wild, I know it was a little long, but a good watch if you have a little time.
