Hi everyone. I have a 75gal with an oscar in it, but Ive become bored of my oscar and I haven't really become attached.

Today I was at my lfs and I saw a nice looking fish called a leaf fish. I did some research online, and im pretty sure its an african leaf fish. I want to sell my oscar and put in the leaf fish with other small fish (would fish as small as cory cats get along fine with it?). What should I know about it before I buy it?

I don't know if a cory could fit in its mouth, but ill test it with some softer fish of the same size then

If it can fit a cory in its mouth, there is also the chance of it getting stuck there and killing the leaf as well. Leaf fish are more of a species tank fish

It depends. I doubt a leaf fish can eat an adult cory, especially large ones like Bronze Cories. Nevertheless, they still have huge mouths, and should be kept with docile tankmates and plenty of vegetation.

I have a leaf fish with a senegal bichir and a african brown knife. The leaf chases the brown knife lol. It's small right now.

So I guess smaller fish wont work. What would good tank mates be then?

Now that ive seen pictures, Im pretty sure the fish im looking at is actually a Leopard Bushfish.
