africans with south americans?

i have about 30-something cichlids in my 210. some african, some CA. they get along fine and they dont bother each other. i dont think you'll have any problems

that will most likely change as they get older
 
well theyre not exactly babies. theyre all at least 4"+. some of the CA's are even 7"+. you have to look at this on a case-by-case basis. just cause the internet says it wont work, doesnt mean it has to be that way and it should be repeated...

dont get me wrong, there are exceptions with everything, but were talking a full blown adult crabro, what probably at least 10 inches, and i know from experience mbuna are relentless and very fast, not to mention probably one of the smartest fish ive ever owned, oscars would have no chance if there was a clash
 
i had red devils with the oscars and 2 red devils and another oscar would all gang up and attack one oscar and push him in the corner. he was a peaceful fish so thats why they harassed him, but hes able to hold his own when he needs to. the cave is too small for the mbuna to get in so the jd wont have a problem.
 
I am now worried about the RTC...
 
sometimes it works for other sometimes it don't...
they are diff. water parameters and dietary needs...
