I'm presently an electromechanical engineer. I install and service high-speed radiologically-sourced scanning control systems used in large-scale manufacturing (paper, metals, chemical, petrochemical, etc). These scanners measure and control processes by way of over 12,000 measurement scans per second (basis weight, consistency, moisture, caliper, ash, color, formation, opacity, brightness, etc. There's a slew of other equipment that I maintain but, this is the main focus of my job.
I was basically hired for my background in high-end electronics maintenance from my Navy career where I took care of missile and gun search and action radar tracking/guidance platforms and analog/digital multi-configuration communications systems.
Sorry for the derail.
