aggression... Solution?

If you're very dead set on the Angels and the Oscars being kept together, do exactly what you said and plant, but plant heavy. Dense and tall cover so the Oscars will not be able to chase the angels through the foliage. Just keep an eye on them because as the Oscars get big they will become more aggressive and more determined. Good luck.

And first of all idk if I have a male and female so idk if they are foing to pair off. Nice try tho... And I curse like a salor in real life so ignorance has nothing to do with it.. N if u read I have said before that I have seen this combo multiple times with no problems. The aggression isnt horibble at this point I jus want to nip it in the butt before it come to that... All it is is lil fin nips rifht now hell the oscars do it to eatchother... So ur sayin u can only have one oscar lol.... Im doin what I can and imtryin to take care of the problem because I like the look of thw angels and oscars but if it comes to it there is a tank the angels can go in... Im not jus gonna let the angels die but I would like to keep em in the same tank if I can find a way to lower aggression.... Thats what the thread is about.... Like vet said if u aint helpin h trollin

As maxxximus87 put it before, oscars have different personalities. Your oscars probably aren't right for keeping with angels. Just because some people pulled it off doesn't mean you can!

Sometimes, you can actually only keep one oscar; it depends on the temperment of the oscar. I've raised pairs of oscars from 2" babies and they were best of buds up until they hit about 8". In both cases, I had two sets of males. The dominant male would not tolerate the weaker one and I had to remove the weaker male. In my experience, they get more aggressive as they reach 7 or 8" (which could be considered their "teenage years"). If you end up with a male and female that decide to breed, aggression will be off the charts and the odds of those angels being killed are pretty high. I love oscars, but for the reasons I've stated, I only keep one.

Ya and iff they breed I plan on moving either angels or oscars so then I can jus sell the oscar babies.... But they only like 5" so idk if its that time yet...
