Not shy to admit my Curupira ate my dorado a few days back. (13 inches vs 7 inches). 
It was probably due to hunger instead of aggression as the black wolf is still new in the tank and I was periodically feeding it with market prawns rather than feeders.
The better size difference would be perhaps 10 inches thereabouts (20-30 percent smaller).
This is the tricky part as most dorados I kept or seen are very belligerent and they have the speed and mass to do serious damage.
It will be a wonderful mix but do try to get the correct sizing for both fishes.
