Aimara with small tetras ?

Im sure working with tetras in a large tank like that is more versatile as dither fish.
You could try a few kinds of tetras that look the same to blend in better.
 
I'm wondering if it's because they were albino that they got picked off.
there is a similar size green terror cichlid and four lined pictus that are ignored.
