it doesnt seem to be spreading yet. still waiting on the juice. im adding a few corals tommarow, i will keep the joes far away from them.

You have your work cut out for you, they are a difficult to stab. I would turn off my filter and power heads while doing this, just in case you accidently release a lot of it into the water.
 
They really are, there is a butterfly fish that eats them like they are candy, but they need a rather large tank :(
 
you'll all have to forgive my ignorance but why exactly do you want to kill them? ie what hard do they cause?
 
they are basicly an unwanted pest that multiplies like a weed. i think they may have killed a few of my crabs.

the best fish to kill them is a copperband butterfly. 50 gal minimum. you could always get a small 1 and if it outgrows your tank bring it to lfs for them to sell.

A Copperbanded Butterfly will eat them, but all they do is nip them down to the base, and they will regrow from that. They never really kill them.

On top of that, they are not a good fish to keep, IMO. They are difficult to keep alive, and are not reef safe. They are a delicate fish when compared to other fish that are normally kept in a salt aquarium.
