Yes I scuffed the pipe with light sandpaper and went over it with the pipe cleaner. Stuff like that is basically what I do at work.

I thought the ACV would last forever, but whatever if I get problems I will jb weld it shut, IMO I love that stuff. The reason I used it was I had made a hole for a tube I had, (my own rig to get the siphon going) and the new ACV had a much smaller inlet and I didn't want to put teflon tape and have the chance of somthing contiminating the water.

I had that spray paint at my work, the krylon everyone has been recommening and there is no better price than FREE!!!!!!!!

But thanks for the help and I got it going and am happy with the results.
