i run air pumps on all tanks... 220 hasnt had one in awhile but ill be hooking it back up today...

thanx for all the votes

i was just curious if others use air or not

few nights ago the air pump on my big tank broke

im sure its fine without air "i have a crazy filter" but for some reason i wanted it running

so i cracked it open

some super glue and a few zipties and its back working

a lil louder then before but still works

:D

i keep air pumps and foam filters on all of my tanks.. that way if the power goes out all the battery backup has to run is the air pumps and my already seasoned foam filters are there to keep my fish safe until the power comes back on.

and the bubbles calm the fish..

Yes and no. My feeder tank has a constantly runnin pump with bubble wall, And my 29 has A pump and bubble wall, but its only on rite before, during and after water changes.

I only use air on my fry tanks for the sponge filters.

I've always ran air on all my tanks I guess I really didn't know it was an option. My silver doesn't seem to like it so I keep it to the end that he never goes to. I guess that's why he doesn't like it.
