Air pump for fish room

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Also depends if your running bare lines to bubble, filters or air stones. (Note that old air stones take some getting air through so need replacing). You mention that you already have a pump on a tank, check what l/min it pumps, how many lines it’s running, if your happy with it, and multiply up for how many lines you want your new pump to run. Should give you a rough size pump.
I'd like to use sponge filters or diy filter with lava rocks in little bottle

you're gonna need to do some math and add up the depths of all your tanks and also you will need to build a manifold. no one can give you a specific answer just push you in the right direction.

Depends on how high you mount the air pump, the manifold you create, the number of drops and the depth of the tanks
Pump will be 6 to 7 ft high and lowest stone will be at floor level since I mount 3 level of tanks on 3 level racks
