It's accepted that 14" is the max size for these.
Food fish in Asia and we get the runts for the fish trade. Expect 10" in 12 months then very slow after that.

Yes I have multiple tanks to grow him out in and I plan on getting a monster pond for my basement! Once he grows out of my biggest tank (125 gallons) I plan to have the pond already up way before then
