Albino Silver Arowana

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
They're listed under CITES appendix 1, which means they're critically endangered in the wild. With the US being signatories to the the CITES treaty, all endangered animals under appendix 1 are illegal to possess in the US without a permit under the Lacey Act. FWS has the power and authority to issue permits, they just won't under any circumstances. Getting a permit for an Asian aro is about like getting a permit for a eagle, cheetah or a rhino: it's theoretically possible, but it won't happen.

ahhh thank you thats right.

Monsteraquaruim inc in flushing,queens have 2 albino aro 8in $1000 and 22in for $5000..

And are getting more in. They are also legit albino arrows. One day, I'll have the money to have that kind of fish and the tank for it.

wow...since it doesn't take hardly anytime to turn a 8inch southamerican aro into a 22inch aro...certaintly serious profits to be made right now evidently..till many more 22inchers pop on the scene I suppose..price should drop then

I've seen them sold for less than $500
