Albino Silver Arowana

The one thing that makes me wonder about albino or plat silvers is less than 5 years ago only one or 2 was around selling for $68,000
This makes me think that the ones for sale now have just been subjected to white tank treatment just like they do to Asian golds to make the shine level go up
If you place a standard silver in a white tank from birth it would look white but once it's placed in normal tank conditions it will return to normal silver Coloration
I would be a bit worried only paying $2000 as I think that's to cheap
